Our Costume Vignettes at Historic Areas

Once upon a time I saw a colonial town with colonial people on tv on the 4th of July. I was a little girl in San Antonio and in great wonderment asked my dad if that was a real place.  He told me about Colonial Williamsburg. One day my husband took me there...and later we took our children there.  My children began to dream of running through town in historically accurate clothing and begged me to sew proper garments for them and me so we could look like a colonial family. Many thanks to the numerous employees of Colonial Williamsburg who encouraged me on this journey. Thank you for your investment of time.
