A Few of my Favorite Things at the San Antonio Zoo

One of the things my kids wanted to do while in Texas was to take their cousins to the zoo. The funny thing is they have zoo passes so they are there with their mom every week. But not a single one of the kids let any of those technicalities get in the way. They all had a most knowledgeable great time!

Nature Print with my Kids, Niece and Nephews

We spent lots of time with my niece and nephews while in Texas. One morning I pulled out a craft project for us to do together. Nature Print, which I featured when my kids used this fun paper in Colorado.

The kids picked stuff out of my mom's garden, then arranged it however they wished on top of a sheet of NaturePrint.

Then we left them out in the sun for a few minutes...

After a quick soak in some water, we let them dry...

We only spent 30-60 minutes on this project...

Good thing it is quick, because my mom whisked us to the zoo for a whirlwind tour. Stay tuned!
