White Scalloped Blouse at Sunset for my Daughter-Butterick 6175

For the next blouse I dug through the sewing stash and found a white on white floral that had been used for many projects. After assessing the yardage that was left, just under a yard, I decided to use this pattern. It was not one that had appealed to my daughter, however I could squeeze out a white blouse, a color my daughter was hoping for.

Since she wasn't super keen on the pattern, I decided to make a scalloped hem.
Once she saw it she liked it a lot! It has gotten lots of wear with many different pants and skirt combinations since then.

  1. Love the scalloped hem, it really adds zing to a simple blouse!
