A Cheerfully Chirpy Wren in a Colonial Bird Bottle

Someone is making a nest in our colonial bird bottle! One year we had a bluebird in the bird bottle!

A cheerful wren delightfully chirped away in the nearby crepe myrtle...

Now she is perched on the twig leading to her home in a lovely silhouette against the blue sky...

Home sweet home!

Our colonial bird bottle was purchased at Colonial Williamsburg at one of the many auctions, but they can be purchased at the visitor center or on-line as well.

Be sure to read other great gardening posts at the Tuesday Garden Party!
