A Pink Colonial Gown for a Doll Baby

The latest baby doll gown from the needles of my daughter is this lovely pink floral 18th century frock! The fabric, lace and ribbon were purchased in a kit from the lovely Michie Tavern, present day neighbor to Monticello.

All of the fabric was precut, yet completely hand stitched by my daughter. Touches of handsewn lace and ribbon complete the ensemble.

This kit included velcro (gasp) for closing the back, which my daughter hand sewed. She much prefers the ribbon to sew as in the previous purple frock!
