Nature Journals: Hope

Here are the latest entries from our nature journals.  We forced an amaryllis bulb indoors.  Here is my amaryllis.  I struggled with this.

My sketch of the bulb now...

  1. I wish that I could draw even remotely as well. I have tried nature journaling but the drawing hinders the experience for my daughter. She is always in a hurry and doesn't care much to draw. Maybe we will have to try it again to get her to pay more attention to details. Love the slide show.

You inspire me to try things I would not normally try. You show me what your kids are doing, and that gives me some hope, too. Better yet, you show what God is doing in you in the process.

    Thank you!

  5. Thank you so much for sharing this. I really enjoyed the slide show. I just stared in awe thinking of how awesome and beautiful everyone of God's creations are. So unique and so beautiful! Could you please (if it is not too much of a bother) send me a personal message with instructions on how to care for an Amaryllis? I would really like to try to grow one. Do they come in different colors? OK, maybe I should just google. LOL ;o)

    The drawings were also beautiful!

    Blessings,

    JEN
